Then we need your help in making our ABN AMRO teams reach the high grounds. As a Chapter Lead for our Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Azure group you will contribute to a sustainable bank. You do this by;

As Chapter Lead, you will combine working as an IT Engineer with your role as manager of the chapter. Over half of the time you will work in your own team on IT roadmap preparation, analyzing, designing, developing/coding, testing, maintaining and realizing the highest quality and future proof IT solutions. The rest of the time you will make sure you will be on an on-going learning path and educate others to achieve higher and more creative technical capabilities and move towards state of the art solutions.

The NFR grid is a mix of a deep combination of business and technology expertise that is challenging all of us every day of the week. If you come to work for the NFR grid, you will realize how fun, ownership, responsibility, accuracy and drive become your reality. The Azure Chapter will have about 8 members with various levels of experience. You will be working with some of the chapter members also in your team. The key focus area of your block will be in and around regulatory reporting. We’re constantly changing within our chain of applications.
We apply DevOps and own what we do in mindset, behavior, and execution: Whatever you do, you build it, you run it, you love it. Think of automate first, too. You report to the IT Lead who is also your sparring partner for challenges with regards to staffing or other bigger topics like architecture.

ABN AMRO utilizes adaptable working hours, and you can choose for yourself whether you telecommute or at the workplace by planning this with your team. Normally team members are at the office in Amsterdam for no less than two days each week.
You have a positive and proactive mentality with which you tackle difficulties for your chapters and grid and draw in ownership to you. You look for contact with different departments, intently observe the turns of events and guidelines team, and are proactive in the channels that are facilitating for your work and for your field. You contribute in a refinement meeting to make or enhance the client stories, IT stories and grid stories. Your knowledge is looked with regards to a specialist in the Azure, DevOps, and HR Activities along with mentoring others and also from different IT needs.
