Wat je gaat doen

The purpose of the Product Owner role is to lead efforts to enable international countries to achieve infrastructure cost savings and long-term benefits. This involves scoping various areas including on-prem and external data centers, cloud services, network components, operating systems, databases, middleware, deployment automation, and more. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, long term benefits, and to develop strategies to implement them effectively. Your key responsibilities:

Customer Research, data and insights:

• Interview CIOs and line managers responsible for infrastructure in the countries
• Create questionaires to get detailed data
• Compile reports that deliver overview and insights to the CIOs

Product Vision:

• Create an initial product vision based on Amazon’s PRFAQ format. This format allows for SLA type debate and constructive conflict. It will allow the country CIOs to review and debate the direction of improvements
• Create an maintain detailed Product Vision and Roadmaps based on data

Line management:

• TSI Infrastructure Cloud Team reports to the PO Infrastructure

Governance :

• Create and run is an infrastructure governance board
• Product vision, improvement proposals, requirements and roadmaps are agreed upon by the International CIO Board
• Document all decisions in one place so it is easy to onboard any new person on decisions that have already been made
• Value tracking, refine and share updates on the business case

We offer this job fully remote as a virtual assignment for 1 to 3 years. As part of this role, you will have an employment contract under the local collective labour agreement (CLA) from one of the 11 countries where NN operates. This means you can apply for the job if you reside in one of the countries where NN is located (Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Japan). Wat je meebrengt

• Academic working level, computer science degree
• 10-15 years in application hosting and infrastructure
• +5 years experience in cloud, preferably Azure
• Experience with AS400, VMWare, Azure and Kubernetes
• Experience with IT Operations, ideally in a responsible role
• +5 years in senior management roles
• +5 years in infrastructure architecture roles
• Product Management experience is a bonus

Met wie je werkt

You will join the Engineering workstream, with a focus on Mediation Layer and Infra. You will report to the International Engineering Director. The Engineering workstream is dedicated to upgrading our engineering capabilities, increasing productivity, and insourcing engineers. Additionally, the workstream will implement Mediation Layer to allow shared tooling to interact with local legacy applications, streamlining our processes and improving efficiency. The Engineering workstream will also work to rationalize our IT infrastructure through data center and Cloud optimization. You will:

• Work with diverse teams within NN International, all business units in International
• Partner with CIOs and key business stakeholders in Insurance International
• Product owners and technology experts within NN Insurance International and NN Group
• External partners and collaborators
• Engage in internal intensive stakeholder management for alignment

This job is a virtual assignment which means you will fully work from home. You will travel regularly to meet your team. This means that the willingness to travel is important for this job position.
