Your role

As the IT-Services Project Coordinator, your role is pivotal in the comprehensive oversight and management of diverse IT projects within the organization along with acting as Service Coordinator with external vendors and partners. This encompasses meticulous project planning, involving the definition of scope, establishment of timelines, budget formulation, and strategic resource allocation.

Your responsibilities extend to the identification and proactive management of potential risks and issues, ensuring the project stays on course. Handling changes in project scope, you assess their impact and make informed decisions to prevent scope creep. Clear and effective communication with stakeholders is paramount, achieved through regular updates, reports, and status meetings.

But that's not all – this role thrives on meaningful connections. You'll be the bridge, connecting with employees and stakeholders spread across our international locations. It's not just about the day-to-day grind; you'll be thrown into the exhilarating world of complex service requests and even be a star in the spotlight during IT project deliveries.

Your active contribution extends to enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's IT operations within a dynamic environment. Collaborating with IT Service Management, you play a crucial role in delivering top-notch IT services to the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • You will act as Project Lead and guide IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Risk Management and issues associated with IT projects and implement mitigation plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are in accordance with our environment, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of services.
  • Maintain effective stakeholder communication at all levels, providing regular updates and reports on project progress.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by learning from past projects and applying insights to enhance future IT project management processes.
  • Serving as Service Provider Liaison: the primary point of contact between the organization and external IT service providers, ensuring that service agreements and expectations are met, and any service-related issues or escalations are effectively addressed.
  • Change Management within the IT environment alongside IT project management to ensure these changes do not adversely affect ongoing operations.

Skills to be successful

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an IT-Services environment.
  • Experienced in working with external service providers and suppliers
  • Training and experience in project management techniques, such as Agile Scrum and Prince 2, are essential.
  • Applying relevant methodologies such as Kanban, Lean Six Sigma or Critical Path Method (CPM) are preferred.
  • A pro-active, inquisitive, service-oriented attitude where you think in terms of possibilities.
  • Furthermore, you are problem solving, flexible and have an open personality.
  • Excellent command of  English and preferably Dutch.
  • You are currently residing in The Netherlands, preferably living in the region Utrecht.
