Your job

You will be part of the Credit Risk Services shop, CRS, within the Credits Capability Grid. CRS is on its way to become the central Credits hub for rating assessment, client groupings, credit risk calculations and credits ESG administration. The team you are joining contributes to urgent regulatory demands, internal findings, and our own climate strategy. Together, we make ABN AMRO industry-leading in lending and compliant by design. But that is not where it stops: ABN AMRO aims to support our clients’ net zero transition by providing access to capital, expertise and partnerships. By providing insights in the sustainability of our Credits portfolio, we play a big role in banking for better! 

In this role, you will oversee designing, developing, and implementing ETL data pipelines that consume data from multiple sources, apply needed transformations and transfer the data to target systems. You will be responsible for developing and reviewing software solutions that are deployed in the Azure Cloud using a variety of technologies such as: Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Airflow, among others. 

You will be part of diverse Agile/Scrum DevOps team and have end-to-end responsibility, on behalf of the business and clients, for developing, managing, and maintaining functionalities in the Credit Risk Services area, which are prioritised by the Product Owner.

Your profile

You feel at home in a technical environment and are always up to date on the latest technologies. Do you think you're a fit? Check your profile:

Technical skills:

• Knowledge on designing and developing applications in the Azure Cloud
• Strong experience in working with Azure in large scale environments (specifically: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks, Azure Devops, Airflow etc.)
• Profound Python (preferably certified) and willingness to learn other programming languages

Soft skills:

• English proficiency
• Working experience with Scrum/Agile principles
• Good communicator
• Proactiveness

Banking experience, affinity with Data Science and Machine Learning are a big plus.
