We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our VMware infrastructure. You will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that our virtualization environment is functioning optimally and meets the needs of our organization.
This job offers you a monthly salary between € 4.462,- and € 6.375,- depending on your experience. This is based on a 36-hour work week, excluding a 13th month and holiday allowance.
What you’re going to do
- Design and implement VMware infrastructure solutions to support the organization's needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the VMware environment
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that the VMware environment integrates effectively with other systems and applications
- Participate in the planning and execution of VMware infrastructure upgrades and migrations
- Contribute to the development of automation scripts and tools to streamline processes
Who you will work with
You will be part of the Private Cloud Infra team responsible for providing a holistic view of all hosted systems as well as maintaining an efficient and secure infrastructure that offers uninterrupted service for our customers. We ensure continuity, but especially the security and compliance of the VMware hosting platform.
In our DevOps team you work closely with a Product Owner and fellow VMware Engineers in an agile manner.

Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining with hyperconverged infrastructure solutions such as Dell VxRail
- Experience with VMware technologies, including vROps, ESXi, vSAN, vCenter, vSphere, vRA/vRO and preferably also VCF and VxRail . Having knowledge of NSX, Tanzu or Ansible is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- You possess a natural inclination towards DevOps aspects such as automation, continuous integration/delivery, and site reliability
- You are communicative, both in writing and verbally. You are productive with a keen eye for quality, and able to transfer knowledge effectively
