As (Senior) Manager People & Organisation you help our customers to reinvent themselves in a digital world that is changing faster every day. From the implementation of a new IT system to an overhaul of the organizational structure. From merging two purchasing departments to a culture transformation. You advise and help these organizations to design, develop and implement their change initiatives. Always from a human perspective and always with the aim of improving business performance.

We are looking for a (Senior) Manager who can start in the People & Organisation team in the commercial sector (Consumer and Industrial Products & Services - CIPS). In this role, you focus primarily on change management advice and supervision of complex and large-scale transformation programs and projects within this sector.

What does your work look like?
As a (Senior) Manager People & Organisation CIPS, you focus on managing large-scale transformations. Translating vision into a practical and people-oriented approach is herein always the challenge. We do this, together, by being genuinely interested, listening and by asking questions continuously. Constructively critical, independent and focused on sustainable results.

Your responsibilities:

  • You support transformations ranging from the implementation of IT systems such as SAP, Salesforce and Oracle, the setup of the financial function and culture transformations to the implementation of strategy.
  • You design and guide complex transformations together with clients and motivate and coach them constructively to fulfill their own role in the transformation.
  • You take the role of change expert within a larger project team and you work together with colleagues from different disciplines.
  • You act as a sparring partner for clients and colleagues and you connect at different levels – with C-level directors, (top) managers and professionals.
  • You spend a lot of time on the ground at our clients to investigate how the upcoming changes are regarded and how you can help them to make the changes land well within the organization.
  • You manage a modest team on projects and you take responsibility for the result - both to your internal stakeholders and to your clients.
  • You take your role within the People & Organization CIPS team of around 25 people. You coach and guide junior employees and help shape the strategy and future of the team.
  • You contribute to the commercial side of the business: you develop and support thought leadership, you take a leading role in drawing up proposals and you know how to (re)sell yourself and your team on assignments.

Who are you?
You are an experienced change management consultant and you are ready for the next step in your career. You want to develop further, expand your network and get the best out of the client, yourself and your colleagues.

You are analytical, result-oriented and you enjoy working together with colleagues and clients. You recognize yourself in the profile below:

  • You have a relevant, completed academic education (i.e. Business Administration, Sociology, Organizational Psychology, Organisation Science, Public Administration)
  • If you have a different academic background and have demonstrable experience with the discipline described, we would also like to get in touch with you for this position.
  • You have 6 to 12 years of relevant work experience;
  • You have knowledge of and experience with process, organization and change programs and with project-based work;
  • You have a vision on transformations and change management and you know how to operationalize this vision into concrete, feasible actions and plans;
  • You can empathize with stakeholders and colleagues, have an eye for everyone's perspective and can easily connect with a diversity of people;
  • You are innovative, entrepreneurial and do not shy away from challenging the status quo;
  • You know how to inspire and connect with people through advisory skills;
  • You have an affinity with and interest in digitization and emerging technologies such as Big Data, IoT, augmented reality, artificial intelligence and blockchain and the impact this has on organizations, people and culture;
  • You enjoy working with international customers and are open to working abroad on a project basis;
  • You have experience with facilitating group sessions and training;
  • You make a personal impact and you have excellent communication skills, spoken and written;
  • You are able to lead teams and you are happy to contribute to the development of teammates through coaching and feedback;
  • You have proven commercial and advisory skills and you are able to further expand the services of our advisory group in CIPS;
  • You have experience in successfully converting leads to projects.
