At the same time, new market entrants cause significant disruption, and steal market share away. To tackle these challenges, our clients require a partner that can help them innovate and accelerate the implementation of solutions that have an immediate and differentiating impact on the experience provided to their customer or employees.
The Experience Center is part of a multinational European team, closely collaborating with colleagues across offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Frankfurt, Berlin and Stockholm to name a few.
What you will be doing
You typically work in cross-functional project teams. Our ‘agile delivery’ teams work closely with our clients and focus on the creation of new digital products or services that excite our clients’ customers, and their employees. In our approach we are user-led, and we use technology and digital to enable the creation of delightful experiences for users. You work alongside digital strategists, service designers, UX and UI designers, product managers, and you closely work together with other front-end and backend developers. In rapid iterations (agile sprints), we translate user insights and business requirements into workable solutions, you will do rapid prototyping, build proof of concepts, and build working (digital) products (MVPs). You will leverage new and emerging technologies, and you bring a creative and innovative mind so we can optimise the interactions with, and experiences for users. As a digital native you are involved in the project delivery from problem definition, to idea, to building the solution.
To be successful in this role you will need the majority of the following skills:
- You have at least 2 years working experience in Python, with knowledge and hands-on experience of Django web framework preferred;
- You have also worked (professionally) with other programming languages, such as Java;
- Relevant knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and preferably familiar with frontend technologies such as CSS preprocessing and frameworks like React;
- Proven fundamentals in object-oriented design, web based application architecture;
- You have working experience with relational databases;
- You are familiar working with Git;
- You have familiarity of the DevOps aspects, including experience with or the desire to learn about CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes;
- You have hands-on experience with working with API’s and creating data integrations, ideally integrating with other enterprise platforms (ERP systems, or platforms such as Salesforce or OutSystems);
- You have worked with digital experience platforms (Adobe, Sitecore or ecommerce systems);
- Building rapid prototypes, (technical) proof of concepts, and production ready technical solutions that will be released to clients.

- You have successfully completed Master level education (Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields) and 3+ years professional experience in software engineering;
- You know how to work on a project starting from the ground up;
- You are passionate about coding and are looking for a great team to solve diverse functional and technical challenges;
- You know how to effectively work in cross-functional agile delivery teams, alongside other digital experts;
- You are a digital native, creative in everything you do, you are confident, and you dare to challenge the status quo;
- You have agile experience, including working from a backlog, translating user stories into code fitting the given requirements;
- You bring a flexible mind-set to your work, you love to continuously deliver value to our users;
- You are a team player, are open-minded, and are highly engaged and passionate about your work. You love to learn and try-out new technologies;
- You must be fluent (verbal and written) in Dutch, and also have solid written and verbal English language skills.
